There she goes! As we near the end of the football season, EFC men’s team prepared themselves for their move to their new stadium at Bramley Moore.

Yesterday marked the end of an era for football as one of the most historic stadiums in Walton, Liverpool waved goodbye to the toffees after 133 years spent on their side of Stanley Park.
We’re taking a look back at the most memorable moments from the last 50 years of fashion at Goodison Park.

The Grand Old Lady witnessed the silhouette evolution of the uniform of the blues, to the ever-changing retro and DIY wear from the fans.
Starting with a blank kit in the 1970’s, EFC shifted from a plain heavy-weight boxy kit to multiple variants of the uniform due to the design and influence of the club’s sponsors.

In the 1980’s British sportswear brand Umbro, and French sportswear brand Le Coq Sportif both introduced their partnership with the club, which had a tight grip on the fans choice of branded sportswear for several years. Le Coq Sportif focused on creating a kit design for the club which was more elegant, sophisticated, and feminine, whereas Umbro focused on timelessness, functionality and tradition.

The late 1990’s and Early 2000’s brought an international twist on the classic kit as well as a nike sponsor, and fans creating their own EFC ‘knock-off’ inspired merchandise.
The present day match rig out has slowly became an amalgamation of kits from every single era, reminiscing on a time where the kits were more bespoke as opposed to mass produced.
